Maya Help please

So opened up maya 2018 for the first time on my pc ...and for some reason I cant move anything



I have updated it and restarted my computer, will try to reset the preferences again to see if this works

Any help would be great

    Can you be more specific. You can't navigate Maya's viewport (move the camera) or you can't move objects inside of Maya?

    I could move the perspective camera around. It's when I try and move an object or even single vertices. It would just try and select something else. I've opened my file up on the uni computers and everything works just as normal (thought that maybe i pressed something that might have caused the issue)

Blend Shape issues - @Alan

So trying to sort out my blend shapes on the patches and every time I edit them on the right-hand side of the body they don't seem to be updating. The left side has been fine, tried to mirror over to see if it would copy, but that hasn't worked either Example So editing the mesh, like I did on the other one. But when I move the keyframe back to the natural position, however, I have edited it now seems to stay natural position. IT doesn't seem to shrink or grow, it stays however its been edited.
