So finally got the space environment done, just needs to be textured and lighting added.

I did this by playing around with Transform options, Harden the edges, Triangulated the vertex's and Reduced the polygons until desired shape/ look.

I was still struggling with how the style of drawing that I wanted for my characters. So after discussing with Justin and him showing me some examples. I went on to create some slightly better and more stylized characters. 


They still need work, but they look much better than my other drawings.

Environments: Maya tests

Was just having a play in Maya with the low poly style modeling, as I was struggling with drawing in Photoshop.




So I triangulated and reduced the vertex's in order to create this.
By doing this I am going to create some simple layouts which move around and edit to help me get a better idea for positioning for my environment art.

I think out of the three images above, the third and forth picture looks the the best in the low poly style. Where as the fith image, the back just looks a little too flat. I will start to create come bits to go in the foreground and back ground to make them better enviroments.

This is my first go at the low poly style drawing for the landscapes. The edges aren't as clean and straight as I want them to be. But I was just trying this out.
I did also try adding some colour to these drawings but thought it made them look a bit messy

So been looking at environments for some inspiration for our animation. Was looking into places on earth which are almost unreal.  I collected these images as I really like the colours, textures and shapes of these environments.

This is my guitar Max pose.  Managed to do three other poses rather then the two that Alan asked for, but it didn't feel right leaving the third pose as the last.
